Formats and cases.

Sonko Light Bread is a 170g pack, ten to a case, and Sonko's crackers are 225g, also ten to a case. Kupiec corn cakes are 120g, 12 to a case. Most other lines come in cases of nine to 16 packs. Snowflake bread flour is a 2.5kg bag, eight to a case.

Every line in the category is ambient, so none of it needs chiller or freezer space.

What to range first.

For a Polish or Eastern European fixture, start with Sonko Light Bread, one rye bread from Benus or Cannelle and one rusk. Put crispbread and corn cakes with the crackers and the rye bread with the bread.

For South African shoppers, Snowflake bread flour and a beer bread mix belong with the home baking lines, not on the bread shelf.
