What is in the range.

Almost all of the range is OKF, a South Korean drinks company. Aloe Vera King is its flagship, launched in 1997, and OKF says it holds a 76% share of the global aloe drink market.

  • Sugar Free versions of Original, Mango and Strawberry.

  • Aloe Vera King Sparkling Water in Strawberry and Watermelon, in 350ml.

Bottles, cans and cases.

The 500ml bottle is the main format and comes in cases of 20. The 1.5 litre bottle comes in cases of 12 and includes Original, Original Sugar Free, Mango, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Pineapple, Watermelon with aloe and Coconut Drink. Aloe Vera King also comes in a 240ml size, which OKF packs as a can, 30 to a case: Original, Grape, Pineapple and Strawberry.

Every line is ambient. OKF gives a shelf life of two years for its bottles and three years for its cans, so stock can be held on the shelf and moved to the chilled drinks fridge for sale.

What to range first.

Start with Aloe Vera King Original in 500ml. Mango and Pomegranate come next: they are the two flavours buyers search for by name on this site. Then add Original Sugar Free.

The 500ml bottle is the single for the fridge and the impulse sale. The 1.5 litre bottle is for the household shopper, so it belongs on the shelf with the take-home soft drinks.
