What Mitchell's is.
Mitchell's is the brand of Mitchell's Fruit Farms Limited, a Pakistani food company. Its history starts in 1933, when Francis Mitchell founded Indian Mildura Fruit Farms to make citrus squashes. The company took the Mitchell's Fruit Farms name in 1948, after Pakistan's independence, and the Syed Maratib Ali family took it on in 1958. The company's own timeline records its acquisition by CCL Holding in 2025.
The farms and factory are at Renala Khurd in District Okara, and the corporate office is in Lahore. Mitchell's says it grows and selects its fruit, chillies and vegetables with growers around Renala Khurd, and that the plant there cooks its jams and sauces and fills its jars and pouches. It describes itself as Pakistan's oldest food company.
