  • Rice vermicelli: Bamboo Tree, in standard and fine, and Farmer 1mm rice sticks from Thailand.
  • Flat rice noodles: Bamboo Tree and Cock at 5mm, Acecook rice noodles and Farmer rice flake sheets. Acecook Vietnam was set up in 1993 as a joint venture, with Acecook of Japan as its main shareholder.

Pack sizes and cases.

Round 22cm rice paper comes in two packs: 200g, twelve to a case, and 400g, 36 to a case. The square 22cm sheet comes in the 400g pack only.

Vermicelli and rice noodles are mostly 400g packs in cases of 30. Bamboo Tree vermicelli also comes as a 200g pack, twelve to a case. Every line is ambient.

What to range first.

Start with 22cm round rice paper and Bamboo Tree rice vermicelli. Buyers search for the two together, because both go into the same roll. Add a 5mm flat noodle for soups and stir-fries, then the square and 28cm sheets when kitchens ask for them.
