What Lackmann is.
Lackmann is the brand of Lackmann Fleisch- und Feinkostfabrik GmbH, a private family company founded in 1998. It has two sites in south-west Germany, at Bühl and Willstätt. It makes meat products and ready meals to Slavic and Eastern European recipes. Since 2010 it has also been a wholesaler, adding drinks, sweets, pickles and preserves, and cereals to what it produces itself.

Pickled agaric, oyster and shiitake mushrooms and boletus with garlic; pickled green tomatoes; sour cabbage with apple, garlic or horseradish. Curd cheese in vanilla, cherry, condensed milk and creme brulee flavours. Classic and olive oil mayonnaise. Frozen dumplings. Buckwheat groats, vermicelli, thin noodles, blackcurrant jam and marshmallow. The catalogue also lists a gutted round goby. Storage is a mix of ambient, chilled and frozen, shown on each line.
